Sportmadness is the co-organiser of the event, which acts as an intermediary and distributor in the sale of tickets.

The purchase of the products offered through the Website entails acceptance of the terms and conditions provided for in these General Conditions of Service, so before proceeding to accept them, please read their content carefully. If you do not accept these General Conditions, the purchase of the services cannot be carried out and, consequently, will not entail the assumption of any type of obligation or liability on the part of the owner.

By placing a purchase order or registration through the Website, the Client declares that he/she is over 16 years of age and has the legal capacity to contract the products of the Website.

To place an order, the Customer must follow each of the steps of the purchase procedure provided for on the Website.

CUSTOMER REGISTRATION

To start the purchase procedure for the products on the Website, the user must register through the form included in the activity and make the payment through the payment gateway included. 

Sportmadness will not have access to the data that the interested party includes in the payment gateway of the activity.

Sportmadness will send the personal data to the affiliates and collaborators responsible for the organisation of the activity and whose identification data will be available to the interested party in each description.

PRICE AND PAYMENT METHOD

The price of the products will be the one that appears in the currency indicated next to each product on the Website.

The price applicable to the purchase request made by the Client will be the one stated at the time of accepting the General Terms and Conditions of Service.

The Client may make payment for the products by any of the payment methods indicated below:

  • Payment by card: The Client must include their debit/credit card number, as well as any other additional information required in the purchase procedure. The charge will be made once it is accepted by the Client’s financial institution, otherwise the purchase cannot be carried out.
  • Only the corresponding payment processing entity has access to this data for the purpose of managing payments and collections.

In the event that the Client does not respond favorably or does not deliver the documentation and information requested within 48 hours from the call or the sending of the email by http://thamesmile.com/, the transaction detailed in said communication and the respective order may be cancelled, without the need for notice or subsequent liability, proceeding to refund the Client the amount paid in respect of said purchase.

This verification procedure is carried out for the Client’s security and, therefore, by accepting these General Terms and Conditions of Service, the Client agrees to submit to the aforementioned procedure for detecting possible fraudulent transactions and authorises http://thamesmile.com/ or its organising affiliates, so that, once the Client provides the aforementioned additional information and documents,  these can be used for future purchases by the same Customer.

 

SERVICE DELIVERY

Once http://thamesmile.com/ has verified that the purchase process has been carried out correctly, it will proceed to deliver the proof of purchase of the service to the address indicated by the Customer in the purchase procedure.

All purchase orders for the products are subject to availability.

 

REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

  • Right of Withdrawal
    General Rule: According to EU law, Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council, on consumer rights, consumers generally have the right to withdraw from online purchases within 14 days of purchase without providing any reason. However, this right does not apply to all purchases.
  • Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
    Under the European Union’s Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), certain exceptions to the right of withdrawal apply, particularly for services related to leisure activities that are scheduled for specific dates or periods. This includes nominative tickets for sporting events, sports campuses and sports academies. Unless otherwise stated in the service-specific terms of sale.
    1. Nominative Tickets for Sporting Events: Tickets purchased for sporting events scheduled on specific dates and issued in the name of a specific person are non-refundable and are not subject to the right of withdrawal.
    2. Nominative Registrations for Sports Campuses: Registrations for sports camps scheduled on specific dates and issued in the name of a specific person are non-refundable and are not subject to the right of withdrawal.
    3. Nominative Registrations for Sports Academies: Registrations for sports academies scheduled for specific periods and issued in the name of a specific person are non-refundable and are not subject to the right of withdrawal.
  • Refunds and Cancellations
    1. Cancellation by Sportmadness: In the event that an event, campus or academy is cancelled by Sportmadness or the relevant franchisee, customers will be offered a full refund using the same means of payment used for the initial transaction, or the option to transfer their ticket or registration to a rescheduled date.
    2. Customer-Initiated Cancellations: For customer-initiated cancellations, refunds will be processed in accordance with the specific terms detailed for each service. If a service does not qualify for a refund due to the exceptions listed above, this will be clearly stated at the time of purchase.
  • Nominative Tickets
    Tickets purchased through the Thamesmile Website are nominative and non-transferable. The person whose name appears on the ticket must present a valid ID at the event or service in order to enter.

For the terms and conditions of sale of the various services, which govern possible refund policies and conditions in the event of cancellation or postponement of the event, please refer to the sales policies listed on the page of the service itself. In their absence, the provisions of this document shall apply.

 

COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS

The Client must contact us, through the means indicated at the beginning of the General Conditions of Service, to express their complaints and claims, undertaking to attend to them as soon as possible and, in any case, within one month from the time they are submitted.

The General Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law.

In the event that any conflict or discrepancy arises in the interpretation and/or application of the General Conditions, the competent Courts will be those provided for by the applicable regulations on the competent jurisdiction of consumers and users. The parties expressly submit, for any questions or divergences that may arise due to the interpretation, compliance and execution of this contract, to the jurisdiction and competence of the Courts and Tribunals corresponding to the domicile of the buyer or those of the place of performance of the contractual obligation.
